1.The Ministry of Ayush has launched the world’s first multicenter phase III clinical trial on the efficacy of Ayurveda in Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment.

A)  It will help to assess Ayurveda’s efficacy in Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment.

B)  Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the healthy cells by mistake.

C) This clinical trial will be monitored by Dr Daniel Erick Furst.

2.The 5th BIMSTEC Summit has been held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

A) The Summit will be inaugurated by Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the President of Sri Lanka.

B) This summit was organised Under the theme of ‘BIMSTEC-Towards a Resilient Region, Prosperous Economies and Healthy Peoples’.

3.Recently The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been identifying new GI tagged Agri products.

A) GI tag is a unique identifier that is given to the product,which represents the origin of that product.

B)  Darjeeling Tea and Basmati Rice are the two most popular products in India.

4.The Government of India has been implementing a programme of sample based National Achievement Survey (NAS) aimed at classes III, V, VIII and X with a cycle period of three years.

A) The aim and objective of NAS is to evaluate children’s progress and learning competencies as an indicator of the health of the education system, so as to take appropriate steps for remedial actions at different levels.

B) NAS helps to identify the learning gaps at the district level. 

5.Recently the India Meteorological Department (IMD) launched India’s first Climate Hazards and Vulnerability Atlas. 

A) The Atlas is based on 12 extreme weather events and the risks they pose to the local population, livelihoods and economy of each district.

B) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) falls under the ambit of the Ministry of Earth Sciences.

C)  It is the country’s principal agency that is responsible for meteorological observations, forecasting weather, and seismology.

6.Recently study says tropical Indian Ocean has experienced a rapid increase in ocean warming with an average rise in Sea Surface Temperature (SST) of about 1 degree celsius over the period of 1951-2015 at a rate of 0.15degree celsius/decade.

A) The study shows that the western Indian Ocean had a total of 66 Marine Heat Wave (MHW) events while the Bay of Bengal had 94 events during 1982–2018.

B)  In the year 2021, there were 6 marine heatwaves recorded in the western Indian Ocean over a period of 52 days.

7.Dennis Parnell Sullivan,recently won the Abel Prize 2022.

A) Dennis Parnell Sullivan is an American mathematician.

B) He received this award for his contributions to topology, especially its geometric, algebraic, and dynamical aspects.

C) The King of Norway presents the Abel Prize and it is given annually to an individual who has done a remarkable job in the mathematics field with the cast prize money of 7 Million NOK (Norwegian Krone).

8.The United Nations has announced a project to put every individual on the planet in early weather-warning range.

A) This project aims to make the alert systems that are already in use in many rich countries available to the planet’s developing countries.

B) One-third of the Earth’s population, especially in the countries which are least-developed, are not covered by early warning systems.

9.Recently Harish Chandra Mishra was sworn in as Lokayukta of Delhi.

A) He was a retired Jharkhand High Court judge .

B) He will hold office for a term of five years.

10.The government has set a target of increasing the number of airports from 140 to 220 by 2025.

A) Civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said there were 74 airports in the country till 2014 and 66 were added in the past seven years.

B) As per the Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) data,8.4 crore people travelled on domestic flights in 2021,as compared to 6.3 crore in 2020.
