1) India is set to get 8 new Flying training Academies under the Liberalised Flying Training Organisation (FTO) policy.

A) The policy is under the Airport Authority of India(AAI).

B) Academies will be set up at Belagavi, Jalgaon, Kalaburagi and Lilabari.

C) Aim is to make India a Global Flying training hub and to prevent exodus of Indian cadets to foreign FTOs.

2) The Union Cabinet approved the ratification of an Agreement on “Cooperation in the field of Mass Media”.

A)The name was recommended by a high powered selection panel consisting of the PM, Home Minister, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha Speaker and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha.

B) NHRC is a statutory commission established under Protection of Human Rights Act(PHRA), 1993.

5) NASA announces two robotic missions Davinci+ and Veritas to Venus.

A) It is to examine atmosphere and geological features on the planet

B) Each of the missions have been awarded $500 million.

C) The will be launched between 2028 and 2030.

6) Maharashtra launched the Corona Free Village Competition.

A) It is a way to ensure all covid 19 precautionary norms are followed in villages of state.

B) The competition is part of the “My Village Corona Free” initiative.

7) Dr KP Krishnan Committee on “Variable Capital Company” submits its report to IFSCA.

A) It is regarding the feasibility of variable capital companies in the International Financial Services Centre in India.

B) The committee has been set up to explore potential for allowing Variable Capital Company (VCC) as an additional option using which asset managers could pool investors’ funds.

8) Real time Online map “MadadMap” launched to map vacant beds.

A) It shows available hospital beds in India with real time updates.

B) It is launched with the aim of providing critical and time sensitive information to anxious Covid 19 patients.

C) The portal was launched by Project Madad(Help).
