1. The world’s first wildlife bond has been issued by the World Bank.

A) The Wildlife Conservation Bond is the world’s first-of-its-kind financial instrument that is outcome-based and will be channelling investments to conserve black rhino populations.

B) If this program is successful it could be expanded for the protection of black rhinos in Kenya along with other wildlife species like tigers, lions, orangutans, and gorillas.

2. Delhi’s Economy recovers to grow at 18 per cent in the financial year 2021-22.

A) The survey stated that in terms of per capita income, Delhi ranked just behind Goa and Sikkim.

B) According to the survey, the vehicular population of the Capital registered an increase of a little over 3 per cent, reaching over 1.22 crore with the rise.

3. The Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) was inaugurated by Shaktikanta Das, governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Bengaluru.

A) RBIH has been set up as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RBI with Rs 100 crore as an initial capital contribution.

B) the RBIH aims to create an ecosystem that will focus on the promotion of access to various financial products and services for the low-income group population across the nation.

4. Data-Driven Research named “Dare2eraD TB” has been launched by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology to eradicate TB.

A) The Dare2eraD TB consists of key initiatives like the Indian Tuberculosis Genomic Surveillance Consortium (InTGS), Indian TB Knowledge Hub- Webinar Series (InTBK Hub), etc.

B) The InTGS has been proposed on similar lines to the Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomic Consortia.

C) InTBK Hub will be a Webinar series that creates a connection between the industry and academia to discuss various challenges and ideas will be exchanged.

5. The Union Minister of Information, Broadcasting, Youth Affairs & Sports Shri Anurag Singh Thakur will be on a three-day official visit to Dubai from 26th March to 28th March 2022.

A) During the visit the minister will attend the CEO roundtable with leading personalities of the cinema exhibition and television world.

B) He will also visit the India Pavilion at the Dubai Expo where Media and Entertainment Week has been going on throughout the week.

6. A target of Rs 1 trillion has been set by the government for the National Bank for Financial Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID).

A) In 2021, KV Kamath was appointed as the chairman of NaBFID.

B) NaBFID will look to plug the gap prevalent in the country’s infrastructure financing as banks are wary of investing in long projects.

7. The Union Environment Ministry recently decided that October 05 has been designated as National Dolphin Day.

A) The day will focus on generating awareness as it is an integral part of dolphin conservation including the Gangetic Dolphin.

B) Focus will also be given to improving the Ganga and its tributaries’ water quality and flow so that Gangetic dolphins can survive.

8. This year Yoga Mahotsav has been organised at 100 places and held for 100 days.

A) The ‘100 days countdown campaign to International Day of Yoga 2022 for Well-being, Health and World Peace’.

B) As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the International Day of Yoga on June 21 will feature 75 heritage cultural sites.

9. The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Valsura has been awarded the prestigious President’s Colour.

A) INS Valsura is a premier training establishment of the Indian Navy established in 1942.

B) It is the highest award or honour that can be bestowed upon any of India’s military units.

10.The  Ministry of Earth Sciences has successfully implemented the Polar Science and Cryosphere Research (PACER) scheme which comprises the Indian Arctic program.

A) It has successfully executed the 39th and 40th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica.

B) Under this scheme 10 sediment cores have been collected from lakes to reconstruct the climate of the past that is associated with the dynamics of the ice sheet.
