1. Recently NASA has captured a video of an eclipse on Phobos.

A) Phobos is one of the two moons of Mars.

2. The Urja Pravaha arrived in Kochi on 22nd April 2022.

A) Urja Pravaha has a shaft of 1.85 meters and it is 36.96 meters long.

B) This newly inducted ship will help in enhancing the operations of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) by extending logistics support to the ships of the Coast Guard.

3. Recently, the United Kingdom and India signed a MoU on the Global Innovation Partnership and Nuclear Energy Partnership.

A) This collaboration has been signed to jointly promote training and research on radioactive applications, nuclear energy studies, nuclear safety, and security.

B) It is a cooperation and development initiative that will be co-financed by India and the UK for up to USD 100 million.

4. Recently, The National Statistical Office (NSO) conducted an All-India Household Consumer Expenditure Survey.

A) This survey is conducted every five years by NSO.

B) The last survey in 2017-18 was junked by the government citing issues in data quality.

C) The 2022-23 survey will be conducted from July and it will be completed by June 2023.

5. The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) celebrates its 52nd Formation Day.

A) HUDCO’s mission is to provide technical and financial support for housing and urban infrastructure, especially for the poor and the vulnerable sections of society.

8. On 25th April 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organized the ‘‘Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari’ campaign.

10. The Tamil Nadu government has decided to observe the 18th of December annually as Minorities Rights Day.

A) It has been aimed to improve the economic conditions of the most backward classes, Denotified Tribe, etc.

B) Minorities Rights Day is celebrated by the National Commission for Minorities in India which focuses on religious harmony, respect, and a better understanding of all minorities’ communities.
